My kitchen runs cool and dough takes forever to proof. Testing proofing in my homelab/3d printing closet for the first time, which runs at 75-80F.

    I usually just turn my oven on for a few minutes and put it in there so that I don’t have to introduce foodstuffs into places where it normally isn’t, but to each their own.

    If you’re a gardener, you may have a seed germination mat. I see King Arthur sells them at markup prices for proofing dough.

  5. I used to did this. Then I upgraded to a 3090 and it just started baking it.
